I entered an icon chatting game to show off my custom Teenager Tai icon and i showed off a boring icon of two stickfigures fighting,then in comes seyia with my stick figure icon,I had to hurry and click out.I blame dan for all this icon stealing mess,after all.he made the steal icon code.

It was made for obvious other reasons, if you are to blame anyone blame the game creators for using this method or yourself for logging into one of these games.

I knew he was up to no good from the moment I discovered this whole BYOND thing. :) I don't agree with some of the other posts in this thread that say it's your fault for going into that program in the first place, any more than I agree with the idea that, say, a kid who gets picked on in school deserves it because he doesn't "act cool" or "dress cool" or have "street flava" or whatever the heck kids are obsessed with nowadays. But not being at fault is small consolation when someone's messing with you. It probably is a good idea not to upload your custom graphics to games unless you have good reason to trust the creators. For example, DDT's DragonSnot (I'm one of the members of DDT) allows you to upload a custom icon, and if Deadron put icon-stealing code in there, I'll eat my hat. And I don't want to eat my hat because it's one of only a handful of Radio Lazlow hats in existence. So if Deadron makes me eat my hat, he will pay! But I'm pretty sure it won't come to that. Technically, I guess, we could steal icons by hosting DragonSnot, because I think it saves your icon so that when you log in again, it'll be waiting for you. But stealing it would require a special verb to retrieve the icon from the savefile and store it somewhere else, and I'm quite sure we don't do that -- because I do the artwork for DDT games, and if funky icons start showing up in our games, I'll definitely notice. :) | |
Yeah, I hate Dan. Just wait until he and that crony Tom receive the bill I'm sending them for all the hours of work I lost in the past two years due to BYOND. They're also going to be one of the major defendants named in my disability lawsuit for the carpal tunnel syndrome I plan to be crippled by, circa 2009.

Why dont you cry about it? You should be flattered that people like your icon! Never blame the fair makers of BYOND. Without them, you wouldent even be here! Those stupid "Chat and talk" games are nothing but icon stealer games. I just dont get it why, people even log in there when they can just test out their icons in their own worlds?
