How do I get face icons to apear?

This is a question I've been meaning to find out, I'm getting the blue book but my friend said it doesn't cover everything but a lot, will it cover how to put face icons in my game

No, the blue book does not deal with techniques for drawing faces in an image editor.

thats not what I ment...I know how to do the icons themself, i just don't know how to insert them in my game....

Yes it will most definatly (i dont have it but im pretty sure)
