No it's not. Your game has not been accepted to an offical BYOND channel, it appears in BYOND.RAW when hosted. To get your game accepted submit it to the proper channel VIA the "Distribution" link on the page where you edit the game's information.

And one more strike against him seems to be that FanGames.DragonballZ entries don't seem to get put into the banner rotation... Since DBTC was accepted to the channel, I have yet to see the banner up there...
So even if his game does get accepted, the banner probably won't make it up there... (Unless there's a banner approval process that I'm unaware of and haven't submitted DBTC's banner to... Not that it's a major problem... DBTC already has nearly 3400 downloads since November, and over 360 just for the latest version, which was put up just ten days ago...so it's getting played decently enough without the ad space...lol Although it couldn't hurt...) |

Actually, pending the addition of a new feature (and a revamp of the website), banners from that channel will go into circulation -- but not on BYOND.Games. People who want to see those banners in circulation will have to tie their pager into the BYOND.FanGames channel. It's not a statement of the fact that the banners are unwanted or anything -- some of the fan games do seem very well thought out (*cough*even for DBZ*end cough*) -- but rather that it doesn't exactly represent BYOND very well in the eyes of consumers if it is officially advertising intellectual property of another company. |
