Recently I been working Hard on Duv Mud. I have re-made the whole interface, and decided to have it function in a popup browser. So far this is a screen:

[Edit] More Screenshots! [/Edit]

That is just the main client.

That is battle a monster and won.

That is battle a monster and lost

Comments? Suggestions? I got more to add to the interface for Kingdoms and stuff, but it is gradually getting their.

Are there any z levels like UP or DOWN as commands? A world would be funny if you couldn't go up and down ... but then again quite a few muds are like that.
Is this like RWK? If it is, I think that would be a great game for BYOND. I tried making an TWK game along time ago, but lost interest.

Also unless it's spelled different in Canada, you spelled Defense wrong.

Also is that in a browser or is that not BYOND?

Yeah, it's like RWK.

My Mistake!

Yes, it's all made in the popup browser in BYOND, using BYOND coding ect..

Defence is spelled defence in British (Oxford) English, and is also known in other parts of the world... Defense is the American spelling.

Feel free to choose which one you want - both are correct, choose what -looks- better.

It's spelled different in Canada. ;-)

One of the habits I'm trying to shake is using the -fense version instead of the -fence version.

Suggestions? Comments? Fixed the interior up quite a bit. Made it look a little more professional looking. Just need some comments.

Move the Players-Online link somewhere away from Message and Say etc., and line those up along the side in a vertical fashion. Color-code your health, depending on how far it is from 100%. Mayby something like so:

100% - Green
99-80% - Yellow
79-60% - Black
59-35% - Light Red
34-15% - Dark red
14-1% - Purple
0% - Dark Purple

And change the Link with an underline concept to actual graphical buttons. Underlined text looks ugly!

Oddly enough, I've always used the -fence variety and have had to make myself start using the -fense version instead.

Yep. This is true everywhere on the internet (excluding the image part, since those sap bandwidth) -- if at all possible, remove the underlines from your links using CSS, and only include an underline when the client mouses over the link. Obviously, the link has to be visibly separate from the rest of the page, though, so it's definitely necessary to make it a colour that is not similar to your page text colour (as long as it doesn't contrast too much).

Speaking of underlining, im going to take this moment to stray slightly off-topic and scream in wild rage. Someone from my class has a habbit of underlining topics, or entire essays, because he thinks the teachers like it. Agh, ugh, aaaaaaaaaaaaaah. It's not even possible to read it. Ok, im done venting.

Eewwwww.

Have you whacked him upside the head with a stupid stick yet? (Man, Leftley, that line of yours is really catching on for me. =P)
