Looking at my distrobution list, I notice at the moment there is only 1 level of subscriptions available to developers. The only factor is how long that subscription last. Something I have need of is the ability to offer different types of subscriptions.

For my example: I need 1 that just offers in-game feature upgrades, then I'd like to have another for the ability to download the program and host, and maybe a 3rd to allow people to GM the games they host. Each keeping with the current subscription times as well for each level.

Any talk of this at Dantom?

Not that I'm aware of.

You can do all this now, by creating a hub entry for each type of subscription, having people subscribe to the appropriate one, and having your game check for which thing they are subscribed to.

If the need comes up often enough, I'm sure changes to this will be considered. But don't anticipate that Dantom will do a bunch of work on implementing new features right now unless there is a lot of compelling demand, especially when there are workarounds.

Just a suggestion here.. but I see a trend with my questions... I think the way the HUBs are handled could use a good bit of consolidating. Just something to keep in mind next time changes come around. Also does Dantom have a dedicated Webpage Designer, other than Tom or Dan?

Air Mapster has been doing a lot of webmastering lately. =)

Thats a pretty good workaround, but it could get confusing for the player. Maybe just a subscription to host, then two donate verbs in-game. One for the in-game features upgrades and one for the GM when hosting.
All in all though its a good suggestion for when Dan or Tom has the time.

That's essentially what MLAAS does, except for the fact that only Skysaw can host it so far (and therefore no subscription, yet).

As mentioned, Air Mapster is pretty much the web guy these days.

The hub is going to get some changes in the near future.
