Does anybody know the default password? I just installed Windows 2000 and it asks me for a password -_-

That's the admin password you set. Just type in a password you'll remember

No. I don't remember setting a password when installing (I don't even think it asks you hehe.). It's the prompt that comes up that asks for the password to login. I was just wondering if theres a default or will I have to reinstall Windows.

Is it the logon dialog? If so, then you should have set up a password. I'd try password. If not, try nothing at all. Then, if not, reinstall windows 2k

Hmm. Yea, its a login box. password isn't working. Could it be because I just upgraded from ME to 2000? (I was upgrading, it stopped working, then I put in the CD again and did a Repair instead.)

That might be it. Try your old username and password. Otherwise, you have no choice but to reinstall and lose your files. Sorry :(
