Actually I would think this is the most appropriate forum for this. Well except the actual Lode Wars Forum. Here is the description for classified ads

This is a good place to advertise your skills (as a coder, icon designer, etc) or request help from others to fill certain needs. Conversation should be kept to a minimum here.

So If he's unsure where to put his post Offtopic is the palce to go!

Actually, it really wouldn't go in classified ads. does it match "Recruit team members, request help on specific game needs, or advertise your skills"? no. Even though it really is a BYOND related topic, it still should go in Off Topic. Ive seen many BYOND posts in Off Topic. Not trying to be mean. Just saying, it does belong here.

His specific game need is that he wants someone to host a game he wants to play, which is a need for a game, I'd say it would fit perfectly in Classified Ads.

Well I interpreted that line such as "Will you please make a 3D map for my game?"
