I'm having trouble with internet explorer;
It doesn't seem to want to open any new windows, such as clicking on a link that opens one, or opening a link in a new window, via the right click menu. It just started this yesterday, and I can't figure out what's wrong.
Any advice?

I'm having trouble with internet explorer; Sometimes this happens to me, although, the way I solve this is by closing all open instances of my IE, then reopen them. This happens very rarely to me, although, I seem to think that it is something to do when having too many open instances of the IE, but then again, I may be wrong. --Lee |

I can have a million instances going at once, but as soon as one messes up opening I cant open anymore until I restart. Doesnt happen often, but it tends to happen when the computer has been on for too long.

Get where I am coming from >:D They tend to have lots and lots of buggy applications because most of the time they rush to get things completed, which to me, I would rather have a completed project that went slow to keep the quality and bug free, than rush my ass off to get as many upgrades and what not out... Anyhow, it could be because of a bazillion and 1 errors that could be causing this, with me, it is more or less an open-instance error, or so it seems. With you, it may be because of RAM, but who knows. -- Considering that IE normally uses up around 12 - 15Mb of RAM per instance. --Lee |

Really? that much ram? I guess thats why my computer freezes up when the porno popups get up to around 30.

MyIE2 is pritty good, it runs off IE, but it tabs, so no popups, thats good because its all one instance, rather than 5-10. Saves a lot of RAM.

Forget MHz ratings! RAM speeds? Pfft. Benchmarking programs? *cough* *splutter* The true test of a computer is...
How many porn popups can it stand at once??? Watch Jotdaniel's computer barely break an electronic sweat after 20 IE windows, while Goku72's machine wilts under the torrent of sexual innuendo! But will Jot's mighty computing force stand up to the sheer brute power of Crispy's Mozilla installation? Find out next week on Porn Survivor, coming to a lame commercial channel near YOU! |
