Lamest anime I’ve ever seen. In my modest opinion, I give simpsons more sympathy than this. And it’s way to expensive. What’s your opinion on the movie(s)?

Kyle
Personally, I think they are great. They explain everything very well, have good plots, and great animation. Those are my thoughts.

Tiko
They are brilliant. They explain lots and they are great to watch. Seeing how the war started got my heart racing :D
They explain quite abit, but sometimes the animation a little crappy.Like when Kid was skateboarding.
Simpsons doesn't deserve sympathy, it deserves awards!

I personally think they should have kept it to a few real movies so they don't ruin a good thing.
The Matrix movies were inspired by many ideas from modern anime, and so I think that it was a really cool idea to create some animated shorts. A couple of the shorts were kind of boring, but I really enjoyed most of them. The real reason to purchase this DVD is for the variety of different artistic styles that are displayed; from the jaw dropping CGI of the "Last Flight of the Osiris" to the unique style of "World Record."

It sells for $15 in my area...I don't see how that is too expensive at all.
I thought it was pretty good, for the most part. I didnt like that one about the machine getting turned over to the humans side. It just seemed to drag on and on, and never really got anywhere.
Its not that expensive, although I didnt get the DVD, I just seen them all at once at the movies. It was interesting to see some things. For example the first two movies (The second Renaissance ones) show you a bunch of stuff that makes you see the whole thing from a more nuteral view point.
Im not a big fan of the movies either, I havent even seen Reloaded yet.

I think the movies are great, and i have seen the first 3 from the web site, but i have not seen the rest. Ill probibly rent it if i can some time soon.
I didn't think it was that great. My favorite ones were Kid's story, and program. Kid's Story was awsome beacause it shows a different way to get 'plugged into' the real world (and the kid can really skate). I like Program because it was just different. It kind of backed off at the technology theme. *Spoiler (a little)* Plus, what made me laugh (the only time) was when she hit him. So now on when ever I see a mad women I fear for my life and run :)

I thought it was great and well worth $15. My fav was probibly "The detective" And if you watch the special fetures, you will learn, "The Kid" was hand drawn, every frame.

Heh I rented the animatrix yesterday, I loved it. Yea the robot conversion one was boring, but the detective one was neat.
I noticed that in the Matrix Neo never really seemed to have any issues with killing people. I mean he went from average Joe, to learning how to fight, to blasting his way in and out of everything.
I understand that in the matrix everyone who is still hardwired in is a threat, but he really didnt seem opposed to it at all. Whats with that? Is Neo a trigger happy psycho?
In response to DarkView
Neo didn't fight people either, notice how he only really faught the agents? If you want a psycho look at Naobi or Trinity, they just bust in and start killing off guards left and right(Guards who are not agents.). Plus agents aren't human, and thats like saying you must be a psycho to kill people in a video game.

Well in the first one he did take out a lot of guards, but it was for "The greater good" And every time the Agents take the place of a person, dosnt it kill that person?
In response to DarkView
That's what I was thinking.... Wouldn't they feel bad killing thier own race?
In response to Scoobert
Yeah.

You would figure he would at least have first time jitters, unless, it wasnt his first time...
