I was looking through my nes roms when I found Taboo for Nintendo. I loaded it up and was greeted with very errie music. Kind of music that gives you goose bumps.
When the game starts all you have on the screen is a large board with letters on it, and a pointer of some sort. Thats the game.
After saying "What the hell?" for 2 mins I decided it was a Nintendo Ouji board.
Isnt that intresting?! I believe in stuff like this, but turned it off due to not wanting to use such a thing in my own home if it actually works.
Has anyone else ever seen or played with this nintendo game? Have you ever had any results with it? O_o;;

Well in my life time, Ive had more then a few encounters with the *unknown* so Im always cautious. I might do it at someoen elses house. But Ive heard stuff like that can like open portals and junk. Like the real iouj board.
Now to think about it...I havent seen on of those in a store in the board games sections for a long long time. But apperently you can make your own and it still works. Yeah Atair was great. Pit Fall and Frogger where my favorites. I did have one really screwy RPG for Atari called liked Dragons Diamond or something weird like that. It was a weird rpg where you bumbed into stuff to kill it, and all you did was run around and loot and kill. There was no saving and no point but to get high score. But if I remember rightly Atari didnt even use high score saveing did they? Not until a long time later. |

What, a now non-existant pile of poo?
Worlds:Hear hear! Shut up, Worlds, you don't know what an Atari is! Actually, my uncle has one and he's got some of the best games, like this one where you're a fighter pilot and you have to destroy the other player. It's great! |

Yeah I have one in my basement...It's sort of dormant and waiting to be used...You know in like 10 years people won't even know what an atari is. Heck, kids now-a-day don't know what an atari is. How sad lol.

Yea, I mean kids won't know what the heck it is and they'll end up reffering to the game system simply by the name of the company, like that's the only thing they ever made. How sad indeed.

Haha...I don't know what it's name is though. Guess I have to check. But I think I know the name of the first video game system. Wasn't it the Odysee(I know it's spelled wrong) or something...I think it was. Well, I tried to redeem myself, but I think it failed. Getting back on topic to the Taboo thing, I downloaded it and it is a little odd...I tried it and nothing supernatural happened. I'll see though if my head shrinks in a day or two...

"The Atari" as most people call it is either the Atari 2600 or Atari VCS (Video Computer System), both of which are said on the system. But yes, the first home video game system was the Magnavox Odyssey.

You reilize having roms is illiegal, and no you can't "Have them for 24 hours" then delete them, its illiegal to have them at all.

Actually, it isn't illegal to have them, it is illegal to distribute them, but not to have them. And yes, I DO know what I am talking about... it is a loophole in the law.

Ouija boards have a certain gravity to them, dont use them lightly.
Only uneducated fools would invite the kind of crap Ouija boards can bring into your life, if you dont believe in the afterlife and mysticism, help prove yourself right by NOT taking a chance on them, and if you DO believe in it, DONT TOUCH IT. Its not a game |

I never knew what exactly you do with a Ouija board. Can someone explain what you are supposed to do with one so that I may scoff at the idea and explain how thinking it does any mystical magical supernatural stuff is illogical and a sign of ignorance?
Really, just the word "supernatural" should be a clue. Super meaning "above," or, in this case, "not." "Not natural," well gee, that sounds like something that makes sense. Religion and all that crap is just an idea that has been around for thousands of years, ever since some primitive human saw a volcano erupt, or was in an earthquake, or saw a shooting star. Taking it seriously is like believing that heavy objects fall faster than lighter ones, despite all evidence against it. |

Can I Download a Nintendo ROM from the Internet if I Already Own the Authentic Game? There is a good deal of misinformation on the Internet regarding the backup/archival copy exception. It is not a "second copy" rule and is often mistakenly cited for the proposition that if you have one lawful copy of a copyrighted work, you are entitled to have a second copy of the copyrighted work even if that second copy is an infringing copy. The backup/archival copy exception is a very narrow limitation relating to a copy being made by the rightful owner of an authentic game to ensure he or she has one in the event of damage or destruction of the authentic. Therefore, whether you have an authentic game or not, or whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet. |

That is what THEY say, but that is because they want you to buy the actual game so they make money. Look up on some official law site and find out what it says about the matter there..

Ok, so if they get to make the rules because its "their game", then they could make a law that people named Fred cannot purchase or play any Nintendo games, and that would be an actual law that would be enforced and would be punishable. Does that make any sense to you? |

Haha, your not being chicken your just being cautious (heck, I wouldn't play it either).
Nope, never heard of that game. Seems preety wierd. I don't believe in supernatural stuff (it's too far fetched for me). I miss the old Nes system. I had about a ton of them due to them not working because I played them too much when I was little. Shows how video games are becoming extinct. ALWAYS REMEMBER THE ALMIGHTY ATARI!
