Although this isn't the best way, you can play MP3s on byond by using CDEX's lame encoder, and choosing to add a Riff wave header to the mp3s, transforming them into wave files, and they will play on byond off of the Windows MP3 codec. :)

You could also use a flash program that recieves cues from DS to play a certain section, i dont know how well this would work, but it could.

Ya, flash would just be a way to orginize them and stop programs like real player of mediaplayer from poping up. Plus, flash does a decent job of compressing them without to much loss of quality, if you do it right.

Go to www.macromedia.com and you can get a 30 day trial of the flash creation program. Depending on what you are doing, it is about 50% graphical and 50% scripting, but if all your doing is playing sounds on cue, it is mostly graphical.
