What's this? I believe "KERNELL32.DLL" is how it's spelt, but it keeps crashing my Dream Daemon. And my Dream Daemon keeps freezing spontaniously. I need some help, how can I fix this .dll error?

RaeKwon
KERNEL32 with one L is a standard windows DLL, but this one sounds like a bogus one (if that's really how it's spelt). Do a virus check, with recently updated virus definition files.

Next time it happens, check on the Task Manager and see what's running.

I get it quite often... it basically means the program has gone to pot with a generic-type error.

I know that. I'm just saying that KERNELL32.DLL (with 2 Ls) isn't one I recognise. KERNEL32.DLL with one L is, but that's different.

it's just a typo, stop worrying :P

Continue worrying. Some virus writers make their virus program APPEAR to be a windows one. For example, there are some viruses that save themselves as RundII32.exe. There's an actual windows program called Rundll32.exe. Although you can see the difference between the two here, with the standard windows font, you can't. If it's not a typo you should worry.

my favourite trojan name is msvb60dll... looks perfectly valid even to someone with decent knowledge, but doesn't actually exist :P

But yes, you're point is valid... only a crash seems to be much more likely. Happened to be all the time before I finally upkept my new pc.

Could be a crash, could be a virus/trojan/whatever. It really depends whether or not that extra L was a typo. RaeKwon, care to drop by and confirm that? =)

Since he ISN'T dropping by and confirming it, he obviously has a virus that prevents him from posting. :P
