I know this has been mentioned before, and shot down for legal reasons (illegal, underage gambling). But after thinking a while, I thought of a possible loophole. The game could be played for free, or with chips. How do you get chips? Money. Now, you think, it's gambling. No. If you send in money (such as a subscription for GM Powers in a Zeta game ) you're getting in-game items. The chips could be used to bet in the different games (like a normal casino). But by accumulating the chips, you're not earning money (by theory). It's the same principal as you being able to bet other subscription items in other subscription games, with no monitary value. When you want to "trade in" your chips, you're sent a "thank-you" gift for playing, something small like a pencil, or a sticker. And as an added bonus, we feel nice and include a little money (How ever much you accumulated - the cost of the small object). So, at no point are you betting money, you're just collecting in game items. If I didn't explain clear enough, or have any ideas on the matter, feel free to reply.

rofl... you're almost making me mildly happy with that junk.... almost.
No, not just underaged gambling. You have to have a liscence as well, it has to be legal in your state, and it has to prove that the person in question is 18+.

Just don't try it. You can get arrested for it if they somehow find out your information and you will become under fire by everyone else here.

Also, by your "loophole", you will not get anybody to buy chips if they are expendable. Just make a free casino game with a subscribtion required.

ByondDimes are gone, and the majority of Byonders don't have access to a credit card for PayPal. How would I go about having subscriptions? Argh...it all hurts my head...

Chips would be much worse than subscribtions now, you'd get hardly anyone playing it, maybe even no one.

Anyways, you go to your game in your hub and click the 'distribution' tab. The rest isn't that hard to figure out, and I don't actually know much about paypal because I never use it, but I know you gotta have a link with it (look at some games for examples.).

You don't need a credit card to use Paypal; they just bug you about getting "verified". I don't have a credit card, or even a keycard - all I have is an ordinary bank account. If I want to deposit or withdraw money, I have to actually go into a branch of the bank while it's open, and go up to a teller. None of this ATM fanciness. =)

I created a Paypal account a few months ago, thinking it might be useful. A few days ago, I withdrew most of my dimes to Paypal and used it to pay for a game (StarScape - it's quite a good game. http://www.moonpod.com if anyone's interested), which is currently being shipped to me. Just like that. No parental permission required (not that mine mind at all), no credit card, no bank account, no keycard, no messing around with cheques or money orders. Just the click of a few buttons. Paypal is a lot easier to use than many people seem to think.

I don't need a credit card -- I have that, what I need is a checking account check so I can give them that stupid information they need to deposite.
