pager suggestion

i think people should have a status in the pager, like by "online" there could be "afk" or anything you want to put there, like in any instant messenger. just a suggestion.

I also think there should be a chime sound when you get a pager. it could be turned off and on.

But, there IS! Atleast, for me anyhow...only when the DS is minimized though. But, I usually ignore my pager anyhow, so =p

The system that Dantom is going to put in place(or so I've heard) is a way to have paypal integrated so that it's almost as if you are using dimes. Dimes are dead, they aren't coming back.

Heres a pager suggestion, every BYONDer should have a daily bandwith for their pager, and if they exceed that limit than their pager is shut off for that day.

The problem with the pager is that the major bandwidth eater isn't the messages, but rather is the clients polling the server to see who's online.

If bandwidth limits were put in place, then the pager would shut off seemingly inexplicably.
