I have recently been hacked, I don't know why, I don't know who did it, and for that matter, I don't care for revenge, I just need a little help.
My C: WINDOWS folder was placed in the recycle bin, it doesn't show up either, I have allowed hidden folders to be shown in the recycle bin, but still it does not show.
My recycle bin shows that it has something in it to be binned, thing is though, I don't want to get rid of the C: Windows folder, my main system WINDOWS folder is on a different drive, as to which will NOT be stated for security reasons.
The C: WINDOWS file is actually for my restoration, which includes the main WINDOWS files and folders as every othre ordinary WINDOWS folder would have.
Anyway, the problem is this; I cannot restore my WINDOWS folder, it just will not allow it. I try to restore, it acts as nothing is there, I click empty recycle bin, it asks; "Are you sure you want to delete "WINDOWS"?"
I obviously click "No". Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can help me out and try to fix this problem. I have ZoneAlarm Pro on, and it was on when I was hacked. I am not saying I was hacked in the case that I think I was, I know I was hacked because I never put the WINDOWS folder in C:, and I certainly did not make my PC reboot.
So, for those who can help, or wish to help, then please, all help would be greatly appreciated. As for I, I simply cannot think of what to do now... Nor am I in the mood to be trying things because with the anger that is going on in my head right now, I would more than likely go ape.

As long as you're on good 'ole FAT16 or FAT32 just boot up in DOS and move the folder manually.

It has now just changed to "Website Development" when I try to delete and nothing is there.
So, boot up in MSDOS and move it? --Lee |

That's strange. Maybe you have a virus, then?
