Is there a list of all the supported file types in DM?
Because at the moment I am having to use Bitmaps *SCREAMS at file size*.
I believe that I could save over 1MB by changing these to Jpegs or something, but I remember trying this, and them not working.
Thank you.

For some reason or another my computer doesn't let me view pngs, and I myself have no knowledge on how to make one. I have tried Save As but I don't have PNG on the list or file types :P

Paint doesn't support PNG files, and MS's support for PNG has been patchy at best. Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop can use PNG. Otherwise, just do a Google search for "free PNG converter", or something like that.

Thank you. Also, do you know how I could make my computer show me png's without have to load quicktime (which isn't that quick really)?

I'll rememeber that. =) If you mean that PNG files open up in Quicktime when you double-click on them, then you need to set the file association to a different program. Or, if you mean in Internet Explorer, then the only way is to change browsers. (You know you want to.) |

I have now (just now) changed to Mozilla. And I have one question? Where do you enter the web addy? Because when I put it in the top bar, it searched netscape for it, instead of going to it???

Doesn't BYOND let you import files into the .DMI format?

Pressing the Search button, or accidentally hitting the down arrow before hitting enter, can cause it to search. That is the right place to enter the URL; just type it and press enter.
I highly recommend you look over your preferences (Edit->Preferences) and tweak them exactly how you want them. In particular, set your middle mouse button to open up links in a new tab; it's very useful! =) |

DreamSeeker makes PNGs if you press F2.
