I believe highschool is more for social development with the people your age, because before your a teenager making friends was a lot easier. Now it's all about how you act around others socially, and if you do fine socially then you like school a bit better, if not then its a nightmare, especially if you get bad grades and don't have many friends. This is from my common "absorbtion" of how other people react, because the people who I'm nice to just because are usually annoying and unpleasant to hang around with, and they always complain about school. Other people I hang around with and enjoy doing it really like going to school each day.

I think of you more as this Cypher guy, since you know your a lot safer than you say you are and you just want to make yourself seem interesting so you build this fake world around yourself filled with self pitty and misery, when in reality you probably havn't experienced life beyond your neighborehood. | |

School was boring and I'd rather be with friends elsewhere where we could actually do something entertaining rather than hanging outside the library looking menacing. especially if you get bad grades and don't have many friends. I don't see how friends help out when you have bad grades. School really does suck only when I got something to do or if it's a test. It's only good when I got nothing else to do plus it saves me from doing chores and such and from work.

It's not about making yourself happy! It's about careing about OTHER people and wanting to make EVERYONE happy. Now how can you criticize me for that?

I mean that school can be ok if you make good grades and find it easy, but if you don't have many friends and make bad grades, then school can be rahter on the off of enjoyable. I mean from what I can tell by researching how other people feel about school is that the people that are rather annoying and unfriendly usually find school terrible. I actually wrote up a rather large post commenting on pretty much everything you said, however I don't think it will change your mind at all.
I've decided that I'm completely giving up on changing your mind, since you refuse to defend your philosophy with anything more then random points we have taken apart in your other posts. And, where did you get those statistics from? I'd like to know, especially on account that 45,000,000 would be 15% of the entire population of the US, also if there WERE that many people in the US living homeless, then most likely it's their own fault. Either bad money management or buying things they couldn't afford, sure there are some people who are deceived in big business and ultimately are plumited into poverty but then again, business is what makes the world tick. And on a side note, you shouldn't really bash people in such an idiotic tone. If you wish to gain respect for your ideas and beliefs then show us actual proof that America is in fact a tyranical and synical "machine of evil", and America never claimed to be perfect; America claimed to be the more successful government/country out of the world's regions.
P.S. If you wish to say that we're being "fed" this information by the, "machine" and makes us believe in a certain way or pattern, then why do you believe in the Bible or any type of religion? Since in fact they all say their religion is the, "true and correct one" but make you conform to their views/ways; pretty much, "my way or the highway" attitude. | |

I normally don't do this (or do I?) but if you can be nit-picky with me, the I sure as heck can with you. Show me the proof? Everything that I have EVER said on BYOND cannot possibly contain more ignorance and stupidity and flameing then what you just said. I want you to show me how EVERY religon contradicts itself. No really, seriouslly show me, because I think that you barely know crap about one religon, and know absolutely NOTHING about any other religon, save it's name. Why must I be penalized for posting things far less brash the this, while your crimes go unnoticed? Is it because your idea is the same as the moderators? In that case, I suggest renameing the moderators "thought police".

I think it's not so much that the religion contradicts itself, more that the priests/whatever change it over time to suit their own selfish political ends.

Its also a lot more entertaining then school, but Crispy is right. For at least a thousand years, the catholic church wasn't even ran by Christians, it was ran by the noblemen of whichever country currently protected it.

So, that doesn't mean that religon is evil. It means that the aristocracy twisted religon and used it to control people and make them do what the aristocracy said they should do. And just for your information, since nobody on here knows anything about christianity, the ten commandments were not a guide for people to live by; rather, they were to show people how bad they were, and to show them that nobody can ever be perfect, since nobody can live by all of those rules, except jesus. It really angers me how you guys can all talk trash about religon, when all you know about it is from friends, movies, and speculation. Come to think of it, that is pretty much where ALL of you get ALL of your information from. You're just a bunch of robot biased little piggly wigglies.
