I don't know about anyone else, but my cats are very annoying sometimes. I love my cats, but they just seem to have this thing with walking on my keyboard. This is very annoying, especially when I am typing an essay for school and they step on the delete button.
My cat stays off of keyboards. She's a very literary cat, though, and will try to take control of whatever anyone is reading.

She also has learned how to turn on the water tap in a sink, but has no interest in learning how to turn them off. She's starting to show an interest in light switches, but fortunately cannot reach many of them. She will jump into the bathtub when the water's draining, and splash around, but jumps right out if she hears someone coming. She engages in a nightly ritual of going around the house in a clockwise fashion, hitting each of the little twangy door-stopping thingies in turn.

She'll make a big show of being interested in whatever we're interested in... if we're watching TV or playing Nintendo, she'll sit up on a perch really close to the screen and stare at it avidly, otherwise she ignores it.

She hates real animals (other than herself), but cuddles up next to stuffed ones to the point where we have started to get her some of her own.

Very soon after Kimberly moved in (she brought the cat with her), she (the cat) claimed all the solid green towels in the house as her own. Sometimes she sleeps on them, other times she ignores them, but no one is allowed to move them without her express permission.

Each of her toys has an exact position it "belongs" in. Although she'll ocassionally shuffle this around a bit, she puts them back more or less where they were when she's done with them.

Yes, my cat has issues.

My cat Hates my Girlfriend, besides the fact that she's over almost everyday. I think maybe it's just the way she smells or something, but he(cat) allways sniffs first, then gets all tempermental.

My CPU tower is tucked on this shelf under my computer table(kind of a large one). Sometimes After Running a server all night or Leaving the computer on for whatever extended reason, I find him sleepin on top of the tower. I have come to believe it's the vibrating, old harddrive.

Lazerbeams. I have taken great care not to get it in his eyes, But loves to follow it on the ground for a good 4 minutes, then he remembers that it's not catchable, and lazes on the back of the couch infront of the window.

Oh. Food. It doesn't matter when the last time he ate was, If Myself or My mom are eating, He is automatically assigned food inspector, and must have taste tests inorder for us to Procede in digestion.

No matter how much he hates my girlfriend, if she leaves her coat on the couch for more than 10 minutes, it becomes the Queen size bed for the next 6 hour sleep period, which comes 3 times a day.

becomes the Queen size bed

Ah, see, we just gave in and got our cat her own queen sized bed.

Not really, but our roommate moved out and so we have a spare. The cat was never allowed in that room before, so now she's appointed it the capital of her vast realm.

I think that the reason your cat may hate your girlfriend is because she is so attached to you she doesn't want anyone taking he place. I read that somewhere.

I have had a few cats in my life time..

One would stare at a vacant wall for hours. We don't know why. Maybe mildly retarted. He would also walk up to you, and cry to be picked up, until you tried to pick him up or pet him, he'd then run away from you...

He also pooped in my sisters room, even though his litter was always clean.

Another cat, a female, only liked me, hated everyone else. It wouldnt attack my family, but if you werent family, the damn thing would shoot out from like under a couch and wrap itself around the persons leg and chew it til they ran away. We eventually had to lock her up when we had guests.

She would also lick the bottom of my jeans (like the rim of the hole where you foot comes out) and then sit there with a dazed look on her face, with her toungh sticking out.

Finally, our last cat, was the best. He would let you do anything. A kid could hit him with a hammer, and hed either run away, or stay put. He was not violent at all. He was a loving and good cat. One of the best I might add. But even when the litter was clean, the bitch would piss anywhere he pleased.

Eventually we gave our last 2 cats away to the animal shelter, I don't know what happened to them since. :(
I USED to like cats, until recently. Mainly because a local stray tore the hell out of my convertible top. And, I may add that '67 Impala convertible tops are NOT cheap!
Ive always had a bunch of cats, and many of them are pretty annoying, or at least... odd. When I was a kid, I used to lie on the floor and watch TV. One of my cats would invariably come into the living room, and walk head first into my face. *BONK* Then she would just look at me for a second, like she actually hadn't seen me and was surprised to have bumped into me, and then wander off. That was the same cat who loved asparagus, but would not eat ribs.

My cats are very annoying. For one thing, they never come home; they insist on staying with other people who I don't even know. In fact, I've never even seen my cats. Some narrow-minded people would say that technically, they're not really "my" cats at all, but I just make wierd faces at these people until they go away.

wierd

Remember, "E before i, except practically everywhere else."
You aren't the only one, as you can already see. I generally don't have a problem with any of the cats in my house, aside from when I decide to sleep and they do not. What is my cats' favorite activities you ask? Well they enjoy to keep me awake half of the night! Right when they notice im trying to sleep they come into my room and attack my feet! Of all the times they want to play its at 11:00! This wouldn't be an issue normally, but my room is the only room in the house that doesn't have a door :(
Whenever I'm asleep, my cats jump onto my bed and attempt to groom my hair or sleep on my face.

I have 2 cats as of now, and one of them is passed out in my lap.

Checker: She is a black and white overlord of the house. Anything changes, its her job to give it the ok. She is generaly shy around new people, but still frendly. She is like a Romen(or was it greek), she eats still she is full, then pukes it up, then goes to eat again. She likes to bug you while you are in the bathroom, and if you shut the door before she comes in, she it sit outside it and meow. Anyone who stops moving for a second, she will jump on and start sleeping(playing PC games is a pain with a cat try to get comfortable on your lap). She is about average cat size. She likes to stand just in front of you and move just in time so you dont crush her.

Noah: He is a huge cat! He is just a house cat, but he looks like he has some wild cat in him. He is only 1 year old and when stretch out can touch a door nob. He is friendly and nice, and like to pet people. How you ask, well, he will stretch up your leg and start rubing his paws on the side of your leg, it does actualy feel nice(if only he would do it to my back). He loves to be played with, but he is not a lap cat. His furr feels like rabbit furr(like high dollar rabbit furr). He likes to get on counters, and jump on the computer desk and stand right infront of the screen(only when im playing games of course).Oh ya, if i open one of my computers to work on it, and leave it open, he makes it his home(not like he fits). And while im working on it, he lives in the case cover(well, the last few computers i had the whole tops and sides came off at once, so he would sqeeze in them).

All together, they are annoying, but i only regret they will not live as long as i will.
If your cat is remotely intelligent, giving them a good whack when they walk on your keyboard would probably give them a good reason not to repeat.

My cat never walks on the keyboard.

And yes, he still loves me. :D
I'm the only one in my family that my cat likes. She automatically hated the three females in my household as soon as we got her, so that left my father and myself. Well, my dad was trying to discipline her, so every time she would scratch him, he'd throw her against a wall. She doesn't like him very much any more. My cat has a weird habbit. Whenever I stop petting her she tends to pet my leg. I think she's over affectionate.
In response to Foomer
Spray bottle with water in it, unless your cat is weird, they will hate a fine mist of watter hitting them.
In response to Jotdaniel
Oh, and your keyboard will just love a fine mist of water spayed at it.
