I'd like to see all the BYOND search functions improved. The forum search is by far the strongest, and I can't think of many improvements for that. However, when searching the hub to try and find an entry, I typically have to scroll through 3 or so pages of entries to find what I'm looking for. If this were to be improved in the same manner as the forum search is, it would be much easier to find what I'm looking for.

Also, in Dream Maker itself, I would like a nifty little "checkbox" option on the find and replace box. Call it 'Exclude Quotes (")' This would search your source, but exclude all matches that were found in quotes. This would be preferred for changing things internally without changing dialouge or game messages by accident. Nifty, and I don't think it would be too hard to add, since the client already supports quote detection.

This would be great coupled with a 'Only search text strings' option.

I wouldn't use this really, but I see no reason why to disagree.

I would still like to see a 'search within selected text' option, though.

Another idea is for a pixel color search through icon files. Swap is great, but being able to change all of one pixel to another color without changing the color itself (biggest use: converting to mask) would be excellent.

What about:

1. Ctrl+Click on the image to select the color to mask.
2. Enable the 'Swap' mode.
3. Click the newly selected color on the pallete.
4. Click the mask color on the pallete.

I suggested this a while back too, but Shadowdarke sort of shot it down >.<
