Is there a way I can make a Random Map Gen where certain monsters appear on the map? because in my game monsters are on the map and when u run into them it starts combat, so I wanna know if theres a way i can create monsters at random from lets say mob/monsters/randommapfloor1/? So that only the monsters designated for Floor 1 appear?

Who cares about efficiency? They are radically different. It's like saying "Well, your combat system is inefficient, so I suggest you replace it with a random number generator."

In my game i already have it set up so that when u run into monsters you go into battle so i want to make a random map making system where it will automattically create these guys WITH my map. When they are both randomly generated. And besides, dont tell me whats better, I know for myself whats better for my game, so just answer the damned question.

I do, you use onscreen rader with a onscreen inventory in your games cuz it is soooo efficient and makes your game run as smoothly as can be?
And your suggesting i'm saying something i never intended to say. Thx again for -_- |

What would be more efficient?
1: Randomly place a mob on the map and when someone walk over it combat start
2:Create a area where each step could trigger combat?
