i was playing Mystic Journey and this guy is like if you pay me 2 dimes i we'll give you lvl 4 GM and a haohazard shield (its a weapon)and 450mill gold i agreed the transfers were gone but he tolded me a way he's like subscribe to my icons so i did he got the dimes and then he gave me GM and 450mill no shield i wanted it,it was part of the deal and then i asked him for it once and then he said NOOOOO and took away my GM and banned me i only had GM for 1 and a half 1/2 days the guy who ripped me off his key was:

This isn't the place to talk about individual game problems. If anything, talk to GunBuddy, and tell him about it. I'm quite positive he doesn't want people "selling" gm in his game anyhow.

Dan and Tom just work on BYOND, providing people a means to easily build programs that work online. Its not their problem if a kid in a game that someone made with their software decides to rip someone else off.
If some guy on the street in New York promised to send you $100 in the mail if you gave him $5 on the spot, so you did, but never got any money back, would you send mail to the governor of New York complaining that some guy ripped you off for $5? | |
good point (nothing to say) but i need my dimes back i can use them for my games but i cant get it back maybe if i had the GM and the stuff he said i wouldnt really care i probably wouldnt of made the game but i fell like making a game that he "LIKES" and bann him on the spot.

When I have a developer question for Dan I can barely get him to e-mail back half the time, and BYOND development is something he actually cares about. This situation, sagely described by Foomer, is not. This is something you're unlikely to get anywhere on. The BYOND Staff can't verify anything about these squabbles, and in fact one of the reasons dime transfer was disabled was to prevent exactly this. Lummox JR | |
