What kind of traditions did/do you guys have at your high schools? I'm currently in a project for my US History class in which we have to "change" the school in some way. Our class voted to change student participation in extra cirricular activties. Our angle is making more events/traditions so that more kids would WANT to join an extra cirricular activity. So I was wondering if you could help me out a bit.
Thanks,

Our Upper Classmen are usually allowed to get away with alot of things, and we have our own skip day that our Studen Councle sets up and lets us know Via AIM or MSN.
Unfortunaly some of the meaner teachers make sure to have the exames on our ship day, cause somehow one always finds out the date. After this year, our ship day, and our allowence to ignore the rules will be suspended for furture generations of Upper Classmen do the the year before us, and how the acted. People were jumping out of second story building windows and stuff. Other kids would crawl into open windows on the first floor during a class and reek havoc. People always gotta ruin stuff. |

So they would run around with water pistols and eggs and get revenge on all their teachers, pull some funny pranks, and generally celebrate making it through High School.
However by the time my year level had reached their final day a few of the, how shall I say, teachers with sticks up their butts, were in charge and decided that if you did anything that day you wouldn't be allowed to do your exams.
It's a great tradition as long as everyone remembers to bring a change of clothes.
