Well for those that didn't know already Thelema was the name of the Digipen project me and my game projects team at Digipen just finished. Currently I'm sharing a copy of the installers for Windows, Mac, Linux, and an image of the whole game CD(also contains the manual, the technical design document, the game design document, box art, and the source code) on the eDonkey P2P network. The program I use for this network is http://www.emule-project.net/

The file names to search for to grab the files are
ThelemaSetup.exe - Windows installer
thelemasetup-linux.run - Linux installer
ThelemaMacOSX.dmg - Mac installer
THELEMA.ISO - A copy of the final build CD with everything

Right now I'm the only one who has the files except for the ThelemaSetup.exe so unless you're getting that it'll be real slow as I'm on a 56k connection :). Also note that Thelema is a greek word so if you search for that alone chances are you'll get other junk.
You can upload the files to my web space, if you want. See me in Chatters, HRH, or page me to get the access info. I just did a search for THELEMA.ISO on LimeWire, and found nothing. :/

Well on my 56k connection I doubt I could manage to successfully upload since my connection isn't that reliable. I'll get around to uploading it to your webspace this Sunday when I'll have my brothers DSL.

A sidescrolling shooter type of game. Sorta like a cross between Metroid and Ikaruga.

And it's "my game projects team and I."
I'm all for good grammar and all but some rules are just stupid and make things sound awkward. The point of language is communication and sometimes it seems certain rules don't seem to help this out.
Well, I found Thelema to be sound in physics, but lacking in graphics and animations. Things like the the movement should be animated with the dudes wings flapping, when you move the mouse, i think the gun should point out and keep up with the mouse, while the body is slightly delay. This would make it seem like he is aiming a bit while he turns and such. Just my two cents.

Heh well at Digipen we aren't supposed to use outside material(I just got an email from the teacher that we need to remove the music despite it being made by the sound guy's band :P). Which means we're pretty much limited to whatever talents we have in the group which as evident by the graphic state of the game isn't much. That and up until the last 2 weeks of production we were using temporary models for everything so most the models you see were hacked together and animated in a brief amout of time.

The good news is now that there is a 4 year degree for art students we should finally be able to get art resources from the artists which hopefully means my senior game will have decent graphics.

But atleast the particle effects look good especially the effects for the 3rd level spells :).

Without rules for language, civilization would dissolve into anarchy.

Or, at least, we'll all start speaking 1337 sp33k.

Both are bad.

Yeah but there are many archaic rules all over the place that are never enforced either because they are entirely stupid or just don't have the same pertinance they once had. But now that I think about it my mistake was a dumb one anyway.

Despite the pithy negativism Garthor showed, he was definitely right. If you removed the team, it'd be "me just finished", which is definitely wrong.

Yeah but how many people mentally make the substitution as they are reading :P?
And I got an A- for it :). Only one game left to go at Digipen.

Played, anyway I put the iinstaller on xoox's space so peeps can get it there.
In response to Maz
But where is Xoox's space? =) And how big is it?

Congrats for the grade, Theodis... now if only I can play the game, heh.
In response to Crispy
Heh, leave it to Maz to space out the link.

I'm tempted to download it, but if i have no clue what its about, why should i? Please elaberate ^^;
I downloaded the ThelemaSetup.exe from Xooxer's Webspace I believe; and it installed fine. However on running; the program hogs plenty of computer resources, and a file in the directory (called 'stdout.txt' I think) continually grows: It'd reached around 800kb by the time I forcefully ended the operation.

Any idea on how to correct this?
