type in your little number in the address bar on your browser. It should be 192.168.0.1
type admin in the user name and leave password blank. Tell me what comes up. |

If it is in the control panel, its very hard because I could only figure this stuff out by following the instructions that came with my router.
|
Search Google for your router's manual, and look for something called "port forwarding" or "Virtual Server".

The Motorola SURFboard SB4100 cable modem is not a router. What we need to know is the box that the modem plugs into. this can be your computer or a router.
if you do have a linksys based router type in: https://192.168.1.1 password: admin you need to set port fowarding to the port you host on. |

It should be under the advanced tab, if it's a linksys.

Routers come with Firewall so you can not host so good thinking. There is a way to configure it to make it come off by going to you control panel and Network and internet Connection, will that is how i fixed mine.
Good Luck
