Me being a sleepless fox and all I just realized that the BYOND layout had changed and than it hit me, its July 4th! I've been doing fireworks none stop fer about the last 2 weeks and finally today I get to unload my mortars and whatnot, but anyway happy 4th of July.
Have fun, be safe, as though I can speak fer mehself, sparkly things, bright colors, and loud noises stimulate my mind, as does red bull. -GreenFox |

I think most things are illegal here in Wisconsin, but no one really cares.
Oh, yeah. You have to have a license and go to a special stand. Screw that. They sell anything (fireworks, not drugs) to kids here. |

Same here in NC, but not in SC, so it is just a hop, skip, and a jump across the border do but a bunch of fireworks.

Every place that I've been, it's illegal to LAUNCH fireworks without a permit/license, but...no one's ever really enforced it. Heck, a few of my neighbors who are on the local police force see us launching off mortars, and so do they. It wasn't written into Florida law until the wild fires of 1998. But, ya...most cops I've talked to really don't care, as long as you're not doing it in a dry season.

I know of a lot of states where it is legal, outside of city limits. I was at a block party one time, tons of illegal fireworks, a cop lived on the block and was part of the party. Kinda funny.

In Upper Michigan here you can use small fire works in town, or use stuff like Roman Candles and Mortar out in the county.
Im kind of pissed though, yeah everyone celebrate, but don't be bastards about it. I go to work at like 5AM in the morning, and at 2AM I was woken up by some little jerks firing off bottle rockets at the chuch they are building next store to my house. |

Thats stupid you would even say that. While Im fine with people having fun with fire works, there is many other ways you can celebrate then desrupting the peace at 2AM.
Anyone fireing that stuff off that early in the morning, and at a church are just being ass holes. |

I don't think it's illegal to DO fireworks anywhere. However, it would be QUITE weird.

Well, to do them, you must have them, which is illegal. So by realation, doing them would be illegal in some places.

Maybe you didn't understand that was a joke (lots of people tell me I'm not funny), but I wasn't serious. It was supposed to be a joke, and I'm a Christian, so don't take it the wrong way.

We can get pretty much any type of fireworks here in New Mexico except spinners, fer some reason they are illegal in Curry county.
