I know we all have a few suggestions for 4.0; here's mine:
• Better general interface, without those ugly blue window panes in existance right now
• Coolbar Toolbars in Dream Maker
• I've noticed on games like Seika II that there is a glitch that causes blocks to appear around your char for a split second thats very annoying.
• Maybe a new icon set for dm files and such
• DS skins and definable in DM code (or just skins in general)

That can probably also be a deciding factor if a person is going to play on BYOND or not, when i show people BYOND in most cases people say its hard to use and doesnt look terrific.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but making the icon editing area take up the whole screen would be nice, so that more than 15 icon states can fit on the screen. It would also be nice if there was a key that would take you from the icon state editor back to the previous page. Maybe that already exists and I just don't know about it.

a little thing i request: Byond browser plugin...
like you can extract some special html code on dreammaker... and then like.. people that come to your website can just download it as an IE-plugin and it shows the usual BYOND dreemseeker program, on ur browser... and shows avalible servers for the game.. this all might seem a lill wase, weird, or stupid.. but it would be relly handy for people that dont know BYOND yet and just want to play a cool game... | |

The login system, you have to create a key and they say it a)takes to long and b)dont understand what a key is. On first run of Dream Seeker, some sort of quick start guide should come up, to at least explain what to do.

They'd still be downloading BYOND, except that their browser would do it for them(those lazy people :P) and it wouldn't look nearly as nice. i'm just saying that me and i'm sure a lot of people would prefer it if when u click connect it opens a new browser window and starts loading the game. try a game called runescape and u'll c wot i mean www.runescape.com | |
