I am currently making a naruto game. I don't know whic type of battle system to make. Which one of these should i make:

-Turn-Based: Like Final Fantasy where you take turns attacking.
-Area Fighting: When you bump into an enemy or walk into his/her path you go to an area and fight there. No taking turns or anything.
-Macro Fighting: Just fight from where you are and have a smart AI(enemy) that has battle tactics and so on. Like in zelda.

Come up with some ideas!
I like morte's idea of macro fighting, but since you guys will be playing, you have to like it. Which will you choose?
I've never heard of Naruto myself, but if it is a game I would imagine it has its own style of battle system, why don't you use it?

Well if you can't do it right, don't do it at all, just as Darkview suggested.

Making a fangame but excluding such a large part just will not do.

Actually I suggested if you can't do it right take what you've got and use it to make something similar.
A Ninja game with a Ocarina of Time meets Tekken battle system would be freakin' cool.

Now if you'll excuse me, my shower needs me.
DarkView backflips away into the night.

Well, I didn't exactly mean don't do anything at all, just don't continue with the fangame theme. I suppose I wasn't all that clear on that point.
