As the topic suggests, is there any way I could get the statistics (download total, post date, etc) of a deleted HUB entry? (Dragonball Z: Majins and Mystics)
(this post led me to believe that my entry would remain up)
Due to the e-mails and instant messages I'm constantly receiving, I'm also considering placing a permanent server run from a dedicated machine I've gotten a hold of, but I fear that the BYOND staff would simply banish that entry at its conception.
God only knows why it was deleted in the first place.

Less moderation of fan games simply because Byond does not host their files anymore? I fail to see what that has to do with it, and I hope the hub will still be kept a clean and usable place in the future. It is my belief that the hub, even the fan games section, could do with a bit more moderation.

Instead of policing every questionable entry out there (a futile task IMHO), we are attempting to emphasize and improve the search engine so users will be able to more easily find the sorts of games they want, and filter out those they don't.

In addition to improved searching we'll hopefully have some interesting new ways to track games that will screen out kinds of games you aren't interested in. Now that files are being moved off the server and no longer costing BYOND money to support, we will be doing less moderation of fan games and such.
