Ye,a i asked on the naruto game they said it might,but i wanted to be sure and check here where there are alot of smart people lurking around.
Heres my prorblem,
When i download naruto episodes from akirablaid or DBzhevan.com and i play them. The sound works fine, but the video cant keep up with sound and its bouncing and jerking from place to place. I want it nice and steady. I dont know whats the problem, maybe theres something else i have to download?,a codic?. I have windows media player,quicktime,divx and real player(which is what the downloads appear as when you download them). O' yea and my video card on this computer is 1.0mb. ;/

no, what ever the translated episode was encoded with it needs it. I had this problem awhile back and i downloaded Divx and installed it and now it works fine..

Erm.. sorry i didnt mean the DivX Player i ment DivX Codec which is what naruto episodes are i guess subbed in or whatever but i do know you need codec and that shall stop it from jumping.

this will give you guys an idea of my problem.Notice how the video is playing, the sound is working , but the video is not playing its bouncing and freezing.

I am guessing i need a codec. where should i download it from(give me the link not some big site where i have to do more posting and searcing). i need my video to be just fast enough to keep up with the sound. i downloaded the kazaa codec, but it still didnt go fast enough.

I can't believe you could stand running Windows XP on a 200 mhz machine. XP runs 20 some-odd "system" processes in the background.. Your computer must be saying "Ouch".
[Edit] I bet thats your problem. Your machine must be using almost all of its CPU just doing nothing. Running a video process on top of that is probably using your max CPU usage, so things are holding over and run on the next cycle throwing off the sound and video synchronization. [/Edit] | |

Holy...oh my....oh...holy....AHHHH!!! NO! BAD! You need a new PC to run video smoothly, problem solved. A 200 mhz Pentium and a 1MB video card will NEVER EVER EVER run a DivX avi file well... EVER! EVER, never, EVER NEVER! [EDIT] Unless it's has a very low resolution... I had a 133mhz Pocket PC running DivX movies, but I had to encode them very small. =] ~Kujila | |

Erm, like you would have to use a program to re-encode the video file. That means your PC would be re-writing the file with the changes you would specify. I don't think a 200 mhz could encode video at a decent rate, though.
And the movies I watched on my Pocket PC were about 160x160 resolution, which on a PC monitor would be very miniscule. =/ ~Kujila | |
