I was just thinking that my game "halo" really has no purpose of a alien.I tried adding a story but in the end i think i'm just going do different colored chief icons,Like the real Halo online. The only mobs i might add are floods in my maze arena,And they will chase oyu as you kill floods, and each other trying to reach the center.
These are my idea's for now please post comments on these idea's or any you might have.
----------------------------------------------
PS:Next version of halo is'nt coming out until two months or so because i want it to be bug free and most of my idea's added.

What are these "floods"? I dont remember them from Halo.
|
Those annoying thing in the swamp level that look like plants in a way.And the little jellyfish looking things that are released from them.
For any halo reference or help go to the junkyard..Her is a link to the pics of the floods. http://www.the-junkyard.net/characters-halo.php It tells you about them and stuff.. ENJOY! |
Actully the name for Floods are a hint actully. If you take your flood light and shine it on the Floods they will stop moving after you altogether, but as soon as the light is off them, theyll start after you again.
Halo the book? Now thats just sad. I didn't know litature went so far the drain in the past couple of years. |
Halo is an incredible novel series, and what makes you think it's so bad? You act as if the game is bad, so is the book. Here's the thing, Halo is one of a kind in a good way, and not many games nor books can say that.
|
What's that got to do with it? I bet you never read the book, and only played the game. Games are a lot different from books. Books have no bounderies.
[Edit]: Besides, this is "Halo Ideas", not "Halo arguments". |

You do realise "halo : combat evolved" was based on the book series? No. The books are based upon the world created by the game. The game came first. |
You guys are the ones who are arguing. I only made a statement about the Flood monsters and the book.

think they could write 3 books in under a year? Of course they could. It's entirely possible. In any case, they had MUCH longer than a year. According to this site, Halo was originally released in the U.S. in November 2001. That's nearly THREE YEARS. Plenty of time to write three books, especially as the load was split (one guy wrote two, the other wrote one). The books definitely came because of the game, not the other way around. Look at these release dates: The Fall of Reach - October 30, 2001 (very shortly before the game was released, so obviously the guy was writing it as Microsoft was rewriting the game for Xbox - remember it was originally a Mac title, so the total development time was LONG - plenty of time to write a book based on the story) The Flood - April 1, 2003 First Strike - December 2, 2003 I got those from this site. It pays to check your facts before trying to insult people for being wrong. =P |
I contemplated a Halo game a while ago as well...
My idea was, rather than an action game, a RTS reminiscient of Myth II or Warhammer 40K Chaos Gate. I made a front view for the Master Chief and everything, check it out: ![]() |
