Such crazy stuff lol

If you need/want tabbed browsing, try a Mozilla based browser instead ;)

Guarantee it to be faster.

Netcaptor has tab browsing. :)

Hahahaha... I am so glad I don't use IE any more.

Nevertheless, I might just download that patch now. =)
In response to Pennywise99
Yeah, but it's IE :P

I love Mozilla endlessly, but the darned thing doesn't load on low-resources like IE does on Win98, it fails at times. FireFox has the same issue. I use MyIE for now until I finally get a new computer, I can't wait =P.
Mozilla is great except for two things that bother me.

1) It takes a long time to load.

2) It doesn't have any option to copy images directly from the site. You can only save them somewhere. I find it annoying when I want to, say, copy a texture off a site somewhere and mess around with it in PSP. I don't like having to download it, then open it.

Firebird didn't have that feature (you had to download an extensions) but the latest version of FireFox does. You might want to check that out.

Don't forget site compatibly:

On a sidenote, Did anyone notice that IE & Opera will not display the firefox site right? http://update.mozilla.org/?application=firefox … I wonder why? Many believe it’s firefox staff trying to make a joke heh ;)
In response to Xzar
It displays fine, but it looks like someone in 5th grade made it.

It's obviously a joke from the staff.

No problem with Maxthon. It just blocked the error and kept on running. Well, maybe it shouldn't have been an error at all, but at least it's better than IE. And I don't want to change, because it's soo nice and customizable. Best ad-blocker I've seen.

If i have windows 98..Am i infected?
In response to Gazoot
What version of maxthon are you using. I'm using 1.1.035 and it crashs, I also have everything enabled. I also agree about the ad-blocker :)

The link provided said probably not, unless you have some certain applications installed.

meh, you must have some funky setup. Firefox has only crashed on two occasions for me- once under WinXP, and once under MEPIS Linux- and that was months ago. otherwise it appears to be very stable, even under my level of webpage programming abuse.

mozilla, on the other-hand, does suddenly disappear without warning about once a week.

Right now I have 1.0.0250, and it crashed for me as well until I turned off the search bar, then it was no problem. I like Googles toolbar as a search bar anyway, so it's no loss.

I have win98SE and it crashed me.
Ahahah IE does suck, i install SP 2 and bam i can only get onto google with IE and cant go directly to sites. With any other browser, bam, loaded really quickly

It is because Mozilla is a good enough browser to support PNG transparencys. IE does not support them and it annoys the hell out of me(I use FireFox at home, but a school they have IE and we use IE for our web development class).
