How would you get the client directions to do this:
Up - One space Foward
Down - One space while walking Backwards
Left - Rotate 90degs. left
Right - Rotate 90degs. right
This is similar to Resident Evil 3 if any of you have played it.

Bah to lazy... I could probably just code it myself. Just thought maybe one of you people would could contribute to my laziness(ha yeah right). Somebody do something for someone else, thats unheard of.

Somebody do something for someone else, thats unheard of. Except when I'm around. I have made many things for people asking questions on the forum. I just did that shapeshifting thing, I did a few card game related code snippets, a function to convert a list into a grammatically readable list for a text string, a function to get the area of any object, a system that hides what is behind you so you can only see what is in front of you and to the sides, ect. Those are just the things I can think of off the top of my head, I am sure I would come up with 5 to 10 times more if I did a forum search. I hope you were being sarcastic. However, when someone comes around demanding code and/or saying they want to be lazy many of those with the best answers tend to stay away. Granted, you did not demand and were even polite; but you did say (more than once, I believe) that you wanted to take the lazy way out. Many people come to the forum to be lazy and get great help and even get things done for them. There is a difference though, those people don't tell us (at least not beforehand) that they are being lazy. There's the secret, you need to leave out the part where you tell us you are trying to make us do the work. ;) Of course, that's only half the formula. Doing only that will still not get you help all the time. The other half includes trying to do it on your own and coming to us with context, things you've tried, and detailed problems spawned from that which show you're trying hard. Then you get help most of the time, and it is often good help. But then, you have to truly not be lazy in order to go that far. |

I wasn't expecting anyone to respond with any sort of code they created for me. I was simply in a goofy mood and wanted to see if anybody would do something for someone else that doesn't seem fit and diserving of such assistance at all. I had all intentions to figure my problem on my own.

Yes, people would if they're in the right mood. It may have something to do with the fact that I already wrote it years ago. http://www.byondscape.com/ascape.dmb/ Shadowdarke.2002-0330/#RT

Some reason that code didn't work. By that I mean it didn't give the desired effects. And this would control a person not a car, but similar to driving a car. Up goes foward, Down goes in reverse etc.

You want the part under Rotational Movement, exactly where that link takes you. The vehicular movement later on in the article is a bit different. You would benefit well from reading the text.
