People who know the answer may not be ONLINE. To keep posting when it seems no one on can help you would be spamming. Just wait!

You have a westell, correct? Aiight, that is what I thought, in Global Port Ranges, just put the actual port you want to open in the left box, and the next number in the second box (Two consecutive numbers, the left box's number + 1). Input the left number in the port ranges into the Base Host port, then, for protocol, I believe you want TCP, not UDP.

ok i put 1-9999 and 1963 for the other one is that good?
In response to Ssj3goku87
I wouldn't do that. Just enter in two ports that you want to be able to host on, enter in maybe like..(2000 - 2001, then 2000 in the Base Host Port or w/e it was.)

I believe opening all ports 1 - 9999 would make you vulnerable to trojans and other stuff, but i'm not sure.

lol well even that i opend all of them still no one can join.

And do i put it on dynamic or host?
In response to Ssj3goku87
Well, close 1-9999, and open ONLY the ports you need, no other. If that doesn't work, though, you may have a hardware/software firewall causing problems.

i went to host it on my other computer which is windows 98 no firewalls at all connected to the same modem and still nothing -_-; the modem says that 1963 port is open and thats the one iam hosting on and no one can still join.

I hate to point this out, but you could just use the edit button instead of triple posting.

You SHOULD have all the info you need, Global Port Range, Base Port Range, Protocol, and The Name.
