in light of buying my girlfriend a new Tamagotchi for christmas i decided to create a BYOND version of everyones favourite little beeping wonder.
im just wondering what sorts of mini games i could possibly use.
does anyone have any ideas?

There's always a slot machine and some variant of three card monty. Probably heads or tails as well.

Oh, oh, russian roulette! And you can't forget strip poker! Oh, and you MUST have the five finger monty!

since you can make the screen bigger than a standard tama-gotchi-size, i'd suggest slightly more challenging games like checkers, or tic-tac-toe with a little learning AI so that it gets harder to beat each time, but if the player loses a lot, it 'dumbs down' until the player starts winning again (lots of references out there on self-learning checkers games). this gives a little more sense of 'realism' or 'intelligence' of the creature.
oh, maybe a builtin 'reminder' system where the little pest reminds you of important events/holidays? (puts on a little santa hat for xmas, bunny ears for easter, holds a cake for birthdays, carries an IRS briefcase for tax-time, etc.) |

This reminds me of if it's possible to make handheld BYOND games, would be something eh? As for the BYONDgotchi, make a backdrop in the background. Like when it eats, you animate it eating and having a backdrop related to that, or taking a show, have a backdrop for that.

Heh... this doesn't apply to my post, does it? As I was being sarcastic, that probably wouldn't be good...

I'd like to see the simulated Black and White LCD graphics.
