Have you ever played A Link to the Past? That one's great! =)
Yeah, I was thinking on it before I posted. :o
I was brought up with Link to The Past (atleast when I was like, 10)
Lucky. I got it when it was re-released on GBA.

Why wouldn't Resident Evil work as a cell shaded game? Cell shading can very easily pull off a dark and dangerous world, look at Killer 7.

While the cel-shaded look is very dynamic, flexible, it may not fit the general Resident Evil feel. Y'know, the gritty, fleshy, zombie stuff. But I'd love to see it done! |
I'm glad. It looks cool. The last zelda was probably good, but the graphics were so terrible they hurt my eyes (And yes, I know they were meant to look cartoonish), but I hate cartoonish, bright graphics, as opposed to darker more detailed graphics. It gets me in the mood of the game better.

Link's Awakening was also my favorite one. I just liked the overall feel of that game compared to the others. It felt more like the way a puzzle game should, IMO.

It gets me in the mood of the game better. Was the opposite for me :P. I didn't mind the the graphics but I couldn't stand the game. Took the worst part of Zelda 64 and made it much much worse. Not to mention the first dungeon was an awfully set up stealth type mission. |
My favourite top 5 Zeldas:
1. LoZ: Link's Awakening - my first Zelda, first gameboy game, and I fell in love with it. It took me about 3 years to complete ;)
Since it was on such a small format, it was pure, compressed, purified Zelda injected into the cart. Hardcore.
2. LoZ: Majora's Mask - first Zelda that I experienced as a conscious, sentient person, rather than a forgetful child. Chilling, but massive freedom. It's quite unlike any other Zelda, whilst keeping to that world-duality (But with 3 days this time) theme that runs through Zelda.
3. LoZ: Oracle Series - like polished versions of Link's Awakening, these two games are like sex (am I allowed to say that on the forums? Don't see why not) on a plastic/metal circuit board. Mmmmm.
4. LoZ: Ocarina of Time - Of course, everyone's favourite. Since I grew up with this, I didn't properly appreciate it's genius at the time.
5. LoZ: Wind Waker/A Link to the Past - Battling for 5th, these were ace. Ace as ace can be. Well, ace for 5th.
