Pager-Ban

CodingSkillz2	When you pager ban does it block only that key? Or does it block the I.P. That would be better..

SuperAntx	It takes a LOT more time to make a key than it is to block one. After about 3-4 keys a spammer will give up.

I agree, I've had situations where not only one person harassed me. One guy would not only multikey, but he'd tell all his friends to harass me. When I'd ban any of them, they'd get on a different key or tell more people. I had to set my pager to friends only for quite some time afterwards. Then again, this was back when I thought that I could help clean up the Icon Chatter(s/z) community... Boy was I wrong...

Jamesburrow	Especially since your only allowed around 4 keys per e-mail adress. Not that that will stop him, but having to constantly create new keys and e-mail adresses...There is no way a spammer is that determined.

Jamesburrow	Like I said, only a certain amount of keys per email. That would be, what, 5-6 email adresses. True, there are some determined people out there, but...

I'm not saying peple make keys JUST to spam.
I'm saying that there are tons of BYONDers with many many keys. Who knows why. maybe they got bored with some. Maybe they wanted to multikey in a game.
Then, when you make them mad (probably by muting them or something) they jump on 20 keys (maybe an exaggeration, but I've seen people with 15+) and start spamming the crap out of you. And it's even more annoying when you're trying to ban them from a game, not just from paging you.
