Texter posted this in the non-developer forums, but I thought I should copy it here to see if anyone else has ideas. It's affecting his BYONDscape subscription. Any ideas?

The Problem: My key isn't read as subscribed if I am the one hosting the server , but if I join the same game and someone else is hosting I am read as a subscriber.
I am using 2WIRE router and I beleive it could have somthing to do with my firewall. What is ,"if there is", the port number I am to allow access?

Does this happen with all games that give BYONDscape subscription bonuses? Have him try Carpe Slimum, it tells you right when you log in if you're a subscriber. Also, since the site has been kind of flaky recently, it may not have been able to check the subscription at the time. Tanks didn't notice I was a subscriber when I was testing for this.

I learned recently it isn't BYONDscape related. It is passport related more so on my side of the fence I believe.
For instance, I set up passport for TextMudPuddle, I added myself to the subscription list and when I open up my own server it will not read me as a subscriber. However, if someone else was to host a server and I join that server it would read me as a subscriber. I have tested this with Prolieum and other sorts that I am subscribed to such as BYONDscape passport related games. |

It sounds like DreamSeeker isn't properly downloading your updated key for some reason. Usually this will happen whenever you connect to the hub and there are subscription updates for you. I see that hub has marked your key to be pushed out with a new update, so I don't believe that's the problem.
A couple of questions or things to try:

If any of these works, I'm curious which one. Looks like I didn't get to test any of those. It is working now on all computors. To answer the first question, I wasn't having any hub related problems. Thanks! ~Text |

It is working now on all computors. Great! Thanks, everyone who offered suggestions. |
Can Texter access subscription-only articles? The answer to that should narrow down the problem.
