Which are you going to get? The Xbox 360 is supposed to come out at the end of this year and the PS3 in the begining of next year. So far, I have yet to choose. The PSP just blew me away seeing how small it is and how much stuff could be in it. Xbox 360 though has rumors for Halo3 which I'm a halo freak so I'll probably aim for that. Who knows, maybe both if I start saving now.

I detest Microsoft's presence in the gaming industry. Not because what they relelase isn't good but because of their reason behind being there. Bill Gates has put billions of dollars of investment into the XBox and not got a single dime of profit. Anyone who knows what he done to Netscape and the likes would know what hes trying to do for the gaming industry.
Sends shivers down my spine. Anyhow, I hope the Nintendo Revolution will be great. If it's not what I'm looking for, I'll go PS3. I loved the Nintendo 64 and all of it's predecessors. |

Revolution. For a while xbox360 had me brainwashed, but I finally came back to my senses. The other 2 non Nintendo systems just shell out mature titles so they have somethin to bag on Nintendo for. PS, the Revolution is expected to come out in different colors unlike da other 2 systems..(and yes I do know about X-box 360's changeable faceplates)

Nintendo all the way. =D |

As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo's track record is good enough to sell me its new system since I can assume it's good even though I haven't seen much of it yet. And then, if it's not, I'll just sell it to EB and get PC games instead. I also need to get a Nintendo DS. That thing looks great, and more good games are coming out for it. My second choice in the game console market would be XBox360; however, as someone else already said, Microsoft certainly does not need any more support. Microsoft will eventually become the ruler of the planet through total economic monopoly if we aren't careful. |

Considering Microsoft is the most powerful computer corporation on earth, I welcome them to the gaming world. If they've got the money, the brains, and power to deliver a top notch game, why would I object?
And don't whine about the "monopoly" or how much money Gates makes, you'd do the same damn thing, at least he gives 250 mil away to charity each year, and while it's a spit in the bucket compared to his total estimated worth, it's alot more than any of us can give away. And just think - maybe he's helping to keep inflation down by keeping the money dormant and out of circulation. I love Nintendo, and the playstation 3 looks good, I'm not sure about the new XBOX 360, but I have a feeling that the heads of Microsoft aren't willing to finish last in the gaming industry. Variety and competition are good things, the more companies involved in the gaming industry, the better. |

Actualy, the ps3 will have at least 3 colors, and the X-Box will have the changable face plates. So all the systems will be customizable, at least to some degree.
I think I will shoot for the PS3 to start out with. I have loved the playstation since ps1 (Or PSX as we called it then) and still love my ps2. I own a lot of sony products, and I consider them to be quality products. The drive problems of the ps2 where bad, but could have happened to any of the 3 major console companys. They where all cutting corners to beat out the next guy, and sony just happened to skid on a wall. |

If Microsoft win the 'console war', they will stop innovating and producing good games. They will kill the competition, and ruin the gaming market - just look at their OS. |

Actually these new consoles are far superior to any affordable PC we have to date, for a muchh more reasonable price.

How does IBM make money from the other companies sales? IBM is a computer company, gradually shifting to software and support. Maybe you're thinking of Intel?
