What is up with yall's schools? Critical is from Australia. =P Us Aussies work on a very different school timetables to the US. I'm currently in either the last week, second-last week, or fifth-last week of term, depending what you define as the "last week of term". I'll let you figure that one out yourselves... XD (This is just because of my school. It's not usual for Australia.) |
haha my school begins in seven days (I am in for a lot of daydreaming and even more in-seat comas from the BORING lectures I'm gonna get, even on day 1.).
*Vito sits and daydreams about a possible "accidental power failure" (oops, cut the wrong line) that would delay school's onset* --Vito |

Mine starts on Thursday...:(...But usually I would go back on August 4th, but North Carolina passes a law or something where we go back later in August...

When I was a freshman, my school hours were 7:15 - 2:15, so you're pretty lucky(except you have longer hours) But now I'm goin to a new school, in a different city, and I don't have any idea on the hours. In a year there are four terms...they pretty much split up the year. At the end of the term you have a bit of a break and then the next one begins. Some one else can explain this better than I can i'm sure.

I don't know. =/ Heh. Okay, here's a week-by-week timetable of the next few weeks for me: - Last normal week of term 3 (this week) - Test week (most of the time off [well, for study], except for tests) - Assessment week (student-free, mostly) - First week of term 4 (!) - Second week of term 4 - First week of school holidays - Second week of school holidays - Third week of term 4 ...and after that it progresses as you would expect. Why is it like this? Don't ask me. I have no idea. =P |
Aussie school is split up like this:
Start February Semester One Start February again Thats about it. The amount of weeks in a term may vary depending on where you are or whatever. As for my schooling, I start 8:30 am and usually finish around 5 pm. I only go on Monday to Wednesday... God I love TAFE... It's such a damn bludge way of getting into uni... Plus I'll have 2 diplomas in about 10 weeks!! - GunRunner |
You're just trying to hide the fact that you're a master of temporal quantum superposition. You're not in either you're in all of those weeks :-).
My school begins in about 2 weeks. I have to go back on the 7th September for my first day of Year 11, or, as I like to call it, my last year of compulsory education! YAY! I'm going to get a car and start driving myself in when I'm 17, then I'll be able to drive home if I have an evening of free periods. Apparently, they're also changing the structure of the day, to begin at 8:00 instead of 9:00 and finish at like 2:30 (instead of 3:45) |
