Is there any way to turn mids into mp3s? I have a new mp3 player, but most of my music is mid...

I think Audacity at audacity.com can help you there. You'll probably need to download a .dll to export music as mp3's. It's free.

Firstly, Audacity the sound-editing software is at http://audacity.sourceforge.net, not audacity.com. The latter is a cleaning service. =P
Secondly, Audacity can't read MIDI files. You can get it to record what's coming out of your speakers on most sound cards (Creative calls it "What U [sic] Hear") - so you can play the MIDI all the way through in another program while recording through Audacity, then use Audacity to export as MP3. But it's kinda kludgy. Perhaps try one of these. =) |
