deer, hog, turkey, water foul, small game...or just shoot for sport? i just want to see how many people are into hunting besides me, where i live, theres alot of people who say yes, but never go nore have the gear to hunt. i just wanna see how many people would like to get up at 4 am and sit in the woods, waiting for a buck or bull to stroll by....

By waterfoul you mean fishing right? If so, I love to fish, but hardly have the time so I easily lost what skills I had...

I would love to hunt but I don't have the gear, permits, transportation, or time 8(. I envy those who can go hunting. It would undoubtedly feel wonderful to feed one's self and one's family in that way.

Yeah, I like to hunt, gotta get those artys for my house y'know, I usually camp the spawns near despise, y'know the Ancient Wyrm? I can get him dead with a few Corp-pors and summoned Daemon. Locking Karma for the win! Anyway, sometimes I try Hyloth with the rest of my Guild, we take Balrons, mostly just for the fame, sometimes get good drops if we've got no competition. And there's nothing like Daemon-steaks back at the Guild hall to end a day!

Has anyone else found it innately odd that in online RPGs, "hunting" actually means "spawn camping" and "monster farming"? ;-)

It only becomes that after the initial: WOW WHOLE NEW WORLD TO EXPLORE!!! Phase of the game is over, my post was totally fake, I'd never be able to take an Ancient Wyrm with my Spear toting 'town guard' Saul MacFallow (of Skara Brae) RP character and i'm still an UO newbie so I still have a lot of fun hiking out into the wilds with my guild buddies and exploring the world. I love to explore in MMORPGs and learn new things the hard way. Spoiler sites such as stratics ruin the fun of a virtual world! ;P

Theodis could probably rant for hours about how this is a bad idea, but I personally feel that rewarding momentary ingenuity instead of logical deduction is considerably better. Yeah i hunt small game like squirrels and birds i only shot 2 things though 1 squirel and 1 crow lol i only have a pellet gun im allowed to use so i cant hunt big game but my father has taken me to do some deer hunting i havent shot anything sadly :( but my father is going to let me take the .22 rifle out to use so hopefully i cant hunt a little bigger game like foxes raccoons and maybe some turkey if i can get a headshot :), but the way i hunt is i go out on my 4 wheeler (yamaha rhino its a golf cart looking thing but it has an ATV engine with 4 wheel drive the top speed is 55 and the top speed in 4 wheel drive is 65) with ever gun i have (pellet gun or sometimes 22 with shorts) and i look for anything small that moves :P, oh i also do some fishing at the withlicoochee river down here in florida
