Okay, i was on http://www.gamestop.com, doing price comparisons on games i wanted to get for my ps2 and Xbox for Christmas. So, i looked up "Devil May Cry " and i saw:
Game name: Devil May Cry 4
Platform: Playstation 3
Date: 3/1/06
Now, i know i'm not crazy, but isn't '06 next year? I was told that the ps3 would be released sometime late '06, will the ps3 be coming out earlier than expected? I mean i was thinking, if the Ps3 was coming out at the beginning of next year, or sometime around that, i was definatley going to get that as a birthday present, seeing as how my birthday is Jan.18 if it comes out before, or a little bit after that time, i'm definatley going to get that, possibly along with a game, so i'll be doing further research on this, and if it does release early '06 i'll be looking for a game to buy along with it. ;-)

Jus' cause a console has a successor out doesn't mean it can't still sell games! Remember they were still making new PS1 games for a good while after the PS2 was launched, and they still released new GBA games too.

The Nintendo Revolution, and Playstation 3 are due out spring of 06' I believe. That is what I have read. They wouldn't wait an entire year after the xbox 360. I think they know not to do that from seeing how it worked for Microsoft when they released the xbox so long after the Ps2...Did not work out good =P

Well then, wtf is nintendo doing? They're not presenting their line-up all i've heard from them is a singular mario game and a possible Zelda game, a possible Nintendo:R delay?
As for the ps3, i want to know when most of the games are coming out, i know i'm getting DMC4 since that's coming out, i might do research on games like tekken and Resident Evil 5. MGS4 is coming out late November, Early december, so that's on my christmas list for next year :P. | |

Note for southern hemisphere residents: Stealth means March/April/May, and the DMC4 release date is probably using the US date format, so it's the first of March. That threw me for a minute or so; I spotted the US date format, but forgot to switch the season around. It annoys me when people announce release dates in terms of seasons and forget to mention which hemisphere they're talking about; then I have to guess where they're from. =/ | |
Well, gamestop is a US company(As far as I know at least), wo it would stand to reason that thier date format and even any info on seasons would be set to US standards. But thats just one little puppy's opinion.

They said they won't show any gameplay footage until they are actually complete instead of just gettin people happy about possible features like the Fable guy did..
