Dumb message anyway. If history shows anything, it's that the one tried and true way to reduce population is to make people rich. Rich people have way fewer kids than poor people.

Oddly enough, this turns out to be a great way to deal with environmental problems too. Rich people have time and interest to start caring about their local environment. Poor people just need to worry about eating.

Of course, by "rich" here, I mean roof over your head, solid income, and no particular fear that you won't be able to eat tonight.
