If you are hunting with a group of people NEVER WALK OFF IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS, this just proved how dumb he is. If you must walk off in different directions, at least get pretty far away and dont criss cross paths so no one gets shot. Hes the vice president and he doesnt even know that? Thats pretty bad when a college student has more knowledge then the vice president of the United States
Its funny that the vice president whos supposed to be smart did a stupid deed like walk in all different directions with a bunch of people handling loaded firearms | |
I'd think it was an accident. I'll bet the guy wasn't wearing those orange hunting clothes. Because the guy isn't dead, I'll bet it was at extreme range for a shotgun - a very unlucky shot. He hasn't 'gone crazy.'

You make it sound like he was crazy and shot someone on purpose. I don't like Cheney anymore than the next guy, but you're making it seem like our government are just petty killers.
A.) All of them were wearing orange vests. B.) The man who was shot wandered off from the group. C.) He didn't signal his return to the others. D.) Cheney didn't see him, and was shooting at a bird. So what its his fault? You dont fire a firearm if you are hunting with partners and you dont know where they are, at least regroup first or yell out your partners name, dont just open fire like your an iraqi soldier. I say its all there faults because
1. For not wearing proper blaze orange vests 2. For pretending to be hunters and think they know everything about guns and safety 3. Going off in different directions knowing that someone in the area is going to be firing a shotgun in any direction, like I said if your in a group STAY TOGETHER and dont run off in diffent directions. To hunt anywhere in the United States you HAVE to carry a hunting permit and a hunters saftey card. You obtain the hunters safety card by getting a class, I took that class and I recall them telling me to wear blaze orange at all times, Do not wander off in different directions when knowing someone is going to fire a firearm, and always make sure of what your target is and what is behind it. Maybe Cheney didnt have to take that class because hes a bigshot and just obtained the permit through connections? | |
Exactly. Shotguns can only kill you at close range. I heard someone who said he was shot in the knee with a 12-gauge and it wasn't even serious enough to need hospital treatment.
