BYOND Version: The new 3.5

Operating System: Windows XP

Web Browser: Internet Explorer

Game/Hub(s): Naruto Meets Kirby

Detailed Problem Description:

I uploaded my game to the hud and people started hosting it. Everything was working just fine untill I uploaded version 1.5 (or 1.6, can't remember). Then, whenever someone tryed to host, it wouldn't show they were hosting in the server list. Anyone know what's wrong?

Does the problem occur:
Every time? Yes.

In other games? I don't know.

On other computers? Yes.

In other user accounts? Yes.

Indeed; it's something in your code, not a BYOND bug. The fact that it only happened when you updated to a new version makes that clear.

What would I check for in my code that would fix this?
In response to KirbyRules
If you're having people download from a URL, make sure you change the version number (the one that needs to be an integer), that might be why, but even so, they'd host it fine, just it would be an old version... So now that I think about it, I don't know.

They can host it, it's just that the server they're hosting on doesn't show in the server list. And about changing the number, I made sure I changed it every time I updated the game.

How so? I had a new version of my game in the old Dream Seaker. Complied, ran, great! Same game, same version, new BYOND; Dream Seaker is less than good, it's bad! Though when I compile, it says, "0 error(s), 0 warning(s)."

I code MORE, still no errors, STILL NO DREAM SEAKER!

Um, no idea what you're on about, but it sounds like a completely different issue. Best to stick to the bug at hand.

Did you check that world/hub matched the entry and that you have the hub password set up correctly?

Can we just focus on what this thread was meant for? What should I be lokking for in my code that would fix this problem? And when I said I updated to version 1.5/1.6, I meant I updated the game in case anyone thought I mean my BYOND version.
In response to KirbyRules
Sorry, I thought he ment the BYOND version...

Yes. I double-checked.
Umm... world/hud not spelled correctly?
In response to DivineO'peanut
I spelled it correctly.
