I saw a video about this a while back, but I neglected to share it here (actually, I thought might've found it from here, but it didn't turn up in the search I just ran, so I guess not)
This is a project from Will Wright and his team... I have no idea when it's due for release (if ever), but it is amazingly cool... Especially from a game developer's view...
Talk about dynamic!

I remember seeing part of that video a while back, and thought it was quite a innovative and original idea for a game. Now, seeing the whole video, I agree with the Google Video description that it might end up being the best video game ever made.

Yep. I hate the fact the movie was only 35 minutes. If the whole evolution from scratch would've taken 3 days, I'd've sit here for 3 days. It looks utterly amazing.

Oh my god. That looks freakin' amazing. I just finished watching the whole hour and 75 seconds of it and I really want to do it again, but it's getting late and I'm getting tired. I'm definitely getting that game when it comes out. Will Wright is undoubtedly a genius when it comes to unique and original game ideas.

Sweet! I always wanted to play a game like that, and now one is finally getting made.
By the time you get out far into space, it looks like there will be so many different things to do that you really can (unlike games that claim you can but don't deliver) create your own story and such. Goodbye boredom! | |
That is so awesome when he wipes out that planet! This whole game is awesome. Will Wright is a genius for making this game. It might be more addictive than WoW!

Most games that he has made have been for the PC, and it was running on the PC if you watched the full version (1:01:15) of the trailer, so I'm geussing it is for the PC.
