I was just [swearing is not permitted on the BYOND forums --Moderator] downloading [swearing is not permitted on the BYOND forums --Moderator] Ragnarok, the [swearing is not permitted on the BYOND forums --Moderator] game stopped downloading twice!

Is there a way of preventing this from happening? I had nothing running at the time other then Yahoo and MSN. I wasted my [swearing is not permitted on the BYOND forums --Moderator] time downloading that piece of [swearing is not permitted on the BYOND forums --Moderator]!

That's hardly tolderable in these forums. Take your anger out elsewhere. <_<

And for your problem, the way I did it was download DAP, (which comes with a buttload of adware) and scan your computer after installation with Ad-Aware, and maybe some spyware program. Then, enter a korean proxy into the settings and download them muthahs.

DAP really speeds up downloads, and downloading from a proxy is nothing in DAP. Some versions don't come with spyware and adware, by the way. I think it depends upon the host of the program.

I'm just downloading it from the site :/ Seriously, I downloaded Lineage II without a problem and that's like double the size of Ragnarok.

Get a download manager, then when the connection drops it won't matter; you can just reconnect and keep on going.

Firefox has a good built-in download manager.

Better yet, just download it off torrents...theres plenty around for KRO and IRO, whichever suits your needs.

Dude, that RO server's website is hosted on freewebs? That's almost a guarantee that the server is being run out of someone's basement on a home DSL line :P

I have never had a FireFox download actually work after lossing connection. I always have to start it over again. Perhaps there is a setting I am missing or something.

Some servers don't allow resuming downloads; that's all I can think of. (They do it to prevent people using download accelerators.)

I've never had a problem with resuming Firefox downloads apart from that. Not that my connection drops out much.

Edit: Does this bug report look related? Do you have broadband or 56k?

You really don't want that server. Why?

1. Exp x 1000 is already ridiculous, but that with 70 drop just messes the whole economy
2. High rate servers = unbalanced
3. You'll be without us, BYONDers. o.o
