Graphics card Question

What is the equivalent of a Radeon X300 128mb with nvidia i have never used ATI before is it as good as a Geforce 5200?

ATI is a manufacterer, as is nVidia. Geforce and Radeon are just two types. I heard that Radeon sucks major balls, though. I myself am saving up money to buy a new card. So far, I have $60.

I forget what type of card i have. Though i got a ninvida chip that was top of the line two years ago at that time. It still serves me well. Im in the process of buying a new ninvida now =D.

There is nothing wrong with ATI. Radeons work fine. You probably heard that from someone who was extremely bias.

http://www.tomshardware.com will answer most of your questions. Look for stats on the x300 and they will have charts compairing them to other Radeons and Nvidia cards.
