Please, if you want someone to help you, please speak in a language that we could understand. After reading your first post, which I didn't actually read properly, I didn't read any others.

Apparantly you don't know much about DM's compiler. Without a bit of knowledge of that, you'd be better off jumping off a bridge than attempting to create a program.
It is quite simple, hit CTRL+K(or go to build>compile), and all data you changed/added is written in the .dmb and .rsc files. Shortly: Your project is compiled. Though, if your code contains errors, the compiler will not compile your project -- this is to prevent bugs. So if it shows an error, and therefor can't compile, then doubke-click the error(in the bottom-frame in Dream Maker), and it will take you to where the error can be found. Then it's time to do some bug hunting! Seek for the error, and bust it! If you tried fixing that error, and but could not fix it, then you can always post a topic here, and wait patiently for someone to help you. Also, if the source code containst error, you cannot open the map either. So the code must be errorless before it is trustable enough for the map to open. If you're still confused, or have any form of question, then feel free to ask. O-matic |
wow slow down there buddy! I can't understand your message... Something about objects not showing up? Maybe? Try using english instead of nerdanesse, its a lot easier to read real words.
*edit* were you typing with your face or something? Heres what you need to do. Click on the little + next to obj on the left side of your map full of the grass. It will open up and list a couple Objects hence the obj. If nothing appears, you haven't coded any objs yet. same goes for mobs. Click the + next to mob to see a list of your mobiles. Again if they aren't there you havent coded them yet. |

O-Matic is a better programmer than most people here on the forums. 'nerdanesse'? How can one learn how to comprehend a language without knowing how it works? How can you study something if you don't know what it means? Really now ... |

u dont understand ive never done a game before!!!!! In that case, you might want to stop with creating a game, and try to learn the language before making a game -- you're targetting a spotwhich is too high for you, therefor can't reach it. I mean, if you're climbing a mountain, you'll obviously start on the bottom and think "I wish I could start climbing up there", the very same is occuring to you. The bottom is learning the language, compareable with learning how to climb. If you can't climb/program, you'll never get up. And attempting to get up there will always fail without trying to start from the bottom. You might want to start here, and read the text, but most importantly: understand the text. After reading that, you'll find recourses to start from on learning the language. I recommend doing the ZBT tutorial, it helps you up alot. All -basic- things that seem complicated appear to be very simple once you've read and done that. The DM guide and reference are also great for finding your way in the big, evil Programmers' Forest! If you do not follow the way correctly, and loose track of the path, you risk having evil rippers jump at you and brainwash you to ripping! It happened to me once, don't let it happen to you! From what I've been told, Strai's source codes aren't exactly something you should learn from. And if you can't compile, don't waste space on BYOND trying to make a sequel to an already stupid game >_>

You might benefit from (echo!) deleting all the garbage code you downloaded and reading Zilal's Beginner Tutorial.
