Either use 0 for a random available port, or a specific port number of your choice. If you have a router or firewall, you'll need to have a port open, so you'll want a specific port number then that you've already set up to receive incoming traffic. Lummox JR |
I have the same problem, I have forward a certain port, and in the login URL I have put the port number in and it said "There is no registered information for 'Port Number'."
How do I make it soo other people can connect to my game? |
Shane, when you go to host a game on the bottom right hand corner there is a button named host. Click on it and set you settings.

Yeah but we can set the settings, I think, but what URL do we give the freinds or people so they can also connect?

You can do $ping, get your IP and then put what ever port at the end like this, byond://IP:port, but make sure you have the byond:// in front so all your friends will have to do is goto file to open location.

Lummox JR told you what to do, this is what he said:

As a former boss used to say, don't say "it" in these situations. Say the actual name of the thing, so we can tell what you mean. What is "it" that said something here? Surely not BYOND. Where did you put the port number in? Lummox JR |
